IN FY 2018, THE HOPE SCHOOL FOUNDATION ASSISTED HOPE TO IMPACT THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES ACROSS THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED NOT ONLY THROUGH DIRECT FINANCIAL SUPPORT, BUT ALSO BY PLEDGING THE ASSETS OF THE HOPE SCHOOL FOUNDATION IN SUPPORT OF THE DEBT STRUCTURE OF HOPE. BECAUSE OF THIS SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE, HOPE WAS ABLE TO OFFER RESIDENTIAL PLACEMENT IN COMMUNITY-BASED, FAMILY-STYLE HOMES TO YOUTH IN THEIR CARE. HOPE ALSO PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL SERVICES IN SPRINGFIELD AT THEIR THERAPEUTIC DAY SCHOOL, WHICH PROVIDES AN INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL CHALLENGES, AS WELL AS SERVICES AT THEIR CONTRACT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WITHIN CPS, WHICH IS AN INCLUSIVE SCHOOL WHERE AN AVERAGE OF 25% OF THE STUDENTS ARE DIVERSE LEARNERS. AS PART OF THEIR LEARNING ACADEMY BASED IN SPRINGFIELD, HOPE ALSO PARTNERS WITH BUSINESSES IN THE COMMUNITY TO PLACE STUDENTS IN COMPETITIVE JOBS, BY EQUIPPING THEM WITH THE SKILLS THEY NEED TO ALLOW THEM TO REACH THEIR OPTIMAL LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE THROUGH THEIR VOCATIONAL ACADEMY. HOPE WAS ALSO ABLE TO OFFER OVER 16,000 HOURS OF DIRECT SERVICE TO CHILDREN WITH AUTISM THROUGH THE AUTISM PROGRAM OF ILLINOIS (TAP). THE AUTISM CLINIC AT HOPE ALSO SERVES CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER WITH PROFESSIONAL CARE AND ATTENTION SO THAT THEY CAN REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL THROUGH APPLIED BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS THERAPY, SOCIAL SKILLS GROUPS, SCREENING AND DIAGNOSTICS, BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT, SCHOOL CONSULTATIONS, AND COMMUNITY TRAININGS. HOPE IS ALSO IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TRINITY SERVICES OF NEW LENOX IL, TO PROVIDE STATEWIDE CRISIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN JEOPARDY OF LOSING THEIR RESIDENTIAL PLACEMENTS THROUGH THE ILLINOIS CRISIS PREVENTION NETWORK.
