Mission

The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts offers to the area residents and visitors quality visual arts educational programs and services that encourage the creation and appreciation of art. Through its commitment to excellence for the art school, exhibitions and permanent collection, the KIA provides life-enriching opportunities for the people of West Michigan and beyond to experience and create visual arts. We believe art is for everyone.
