The purpose of Chippewa, Luce, Mackinac, Community Action Agency is to mobilize and utilize resources, public and private in Chippewa, Luce, and Mackinac Counties in an attack on poverty. To provide decent affordable housing for persons of low and moderate income; to provide services and assistance in an effort to eliminate poverty. To develop employment opportunities, improve self-sufficiency and productivity to better the conditions under which people live, learn, and work. We accomplish these ends by providing; affordable housing, assistance with community development projects, advocacy, and institutional change. We provide direct services that may be necessary to ensure self-sufficiency for our constituents.
