Mission
We are dedicated to relieving hunger and preventing nutritious food waste. Forgotten Harvest fights hunger and food insecurity by rescuing and redistributing surplus food to those in need in metro Detroit.
About
The organization transports prepared and perishable surplus food from health department approved establishments directly to soup kitchens and shelters for distribution to the indigent. A total of 44,375,143 pounds of food was delivered this year.
