THE AMBASSADORS HELP KEEP FISHERMAN'S WHARF CLEAN AND SAFE BY:STREET SWEEPING & POWER WASHINGGRAFFITTI & STICKER REMOVALGIVING DIRECTIONSPASSING OUT MAPS & INFORMATIONTRASH REMOVALHELPING WITH DISTRICT SAFETY & SECURITYASSISTING WITH HOMELESS & QUALITY OF LIFE ISSUESPROVIDED SFPD 10B COVERAGE (OFF DUTY SFPD OFFICERS). THE OFFICERS GAVE OUT CITATIONS AND MADE ARRESTS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDED THE 10B OFFICERS WITH CELL PHONES SO THAT THE COMMUNITY CAN EASILY CONTACT THEM WHEN THEY ARE ON DUTY. HELD BI-MONTHLY SFPD COMMUNITY MEETINGS ATTENDED BY THE SFPD CENTRAL STATION POLICE CAPTAIN AND BEAT OFFICERS. ACTIVELY WORKED WITH SFPD TO CURTAIL AGGRESSIVE PANHANDLING AND CHRONIC BEHAVIORAL ISSUES IN THE DISTRICT. DUE TO THE EFFORTS OF THE EXECUSHIELD TEAM, WE HAVE SEEN AN INCREDIBLE 80% REDUCTION IN ILLEGAL VENDING. THE OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO USE THE FOREALERT APP TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE AMBASSADORS AND OTHER DISTRICT PRIVATE SECURITY OFFICERS REGARDING SPECIFIC INCIDENTS, AND TO LOG THOSE INCIDENTS.HELD MONTHLY DISTRICT WALKTHROUGHS WITH DPW AND PORT OF SAN FRANCISCO STAFF TO IDENTIFY AND FIX ISSUES WITHIN THE DISTRICT.
