Mission
Care was started because of concern in the community that teens were using alcohol and other drugs. Today care provides education assessment and referral resources for anyone who needs help with alcohol or drugs.
About
New directions class - for high school students and their parents. This course is designed to develop an awareness of the medical, psychological and addictive risks of alcohol and other drug use. The real costs of substance abuse (legal consequences, physical harm, damaged careers and fractured families) are made evident. Subject matter experts and speakers in recovery are included in the program. New directions equips students and their parents with the understanding and skills to successfully navigate the high risk years of adolescence.
