Mission
Care Net provides compassionate, nonjudgmental sexual health services to women and men facing a pregnancy decision. We offer help, hope and healing through medical services, education, a residential program and ongoing support.
About
Women's health services - In 2018, First Care Clinic saw 586 distinct patients for 1205 appointments, a nearly 20% increase over 2017 in patient number. Nurses performed 187 pregnancy tests, 106 ultrasounds, and tested 290 women for sexually transmitted infections, with 112 women treated for positive infections. At least one third of pregnancy test patients had previously sought STI services in our clinic. Recognizing the importance of serving the whole person, 108 patients received spiritual care during their visits. Significantly, in 2018, Care Net Pregnancy Center of Dane County completed a rigorous process and became accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). All First Care Clinic services are provided free of charge.
