Darts creates connections that enrich aging. Our vision is to be a respected leader in providing equitable solutions that reflect diverse community needs and create a fulfilling aging journey. In 2021, Darts assisted 1,714 unique people. 51 staff members and 643 volunteers provided over 20,000 units of work. 70% of those helped are at or below 200% of federal poverty levels and 16% of the seniors supported are a race other than white.
About
Transportation Darts is certified as a specialized transit service (STS) provider. In 2019, Darts used 6 accessible buses to provide a total of 9,224 trips. Riders use the bus to run essential errands, get to critical appointments, social rides as a group. Riders report Darts ride services help them to stay connected with less reliance on other people. Rides are provided in Dakota, Hennepin and Washington County, including loop circulator routes in West St. Paul, South St. Paul, Hastings, Lakeville, Edina (2), Stillwater and Cottage Grove.
