DURING THE PAST FISCAL YEAR WINGSPAN EXPANDED OUR RESIDENTIAL LIVING SERVICES FROM 26 SITES TO 28 SITES, MERGING WITH OUR HOUSE MN. WE CONTINUED SERVICE IN OUR CRISIS RESPITE HOME, HARMONY, A SHORT-TERM LIVING FACILITY PROVIDING SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE A DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY AND NEED IMMEDIATE CRISIS RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, GENERALLY RESULTING FROM SIGNIFICANT PSYCHOLOGICAL/BEHAVIORAL INCIDENTS. SINCE OPENING IN 2018 WINGSPAN HAS ASSISTED 17 ADULTS TRANSITION FROM CRISIS BACK TO THE COMMUNITY WITH AN AVERAGE STAY OF 4 MONTHS. WINGSPAN SUCCESSFULLY MAINTAINED THE 26 SITES AND WELCOMED THE ADDITION OF 2 MORE RESIDENTIAL SITES THAT FOLLOW THE ALREADY ESTABLISHED POLICIES, PRACTICES AND PHILOSOPHY OF SERVICE OF THE EXISTING 26 SITES. WINGSPAN HOLDS A HIGH (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) VALUE FOR OFFERING A HOME TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES THAT IS NOT ONLY SAFE AND SECURE BUT OFFERS CONTINUED OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL GROWTH AND SELF-DIRECTION. WE ARE ALSO COMMITTED TO OFFERING OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPAND SOCIAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES FOR OUR CLIENTS. WE FACILITATE AND OFFER AN ONGOING GLEE CLUB SINGING GROUP, A MONTHLY MOVIE AND SOCIALIZATION EVENT, AN ANNUAL TALENT SHOW, A SUMMER CARNIVAL-PICNIC, MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUPS, LGBT SUPPORT GROUP, SPOKEN WORD AND POETRY CLUB, FRENCH CLUB AND A VARIETY OF SEASONAL AND HOLIDAY EVENTS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF FRIENDSHIPS AND RELATIONSHIPS AND A SENSE OF BELONGING TO THE COMMUNITY.
