The community leadership program (CLP) is a nine-month leadership program designed to raise the awareness of the needs and challenges that affect the Greater Des Moines community while enhancing leadership skills that focus on community stewardship. Through experiential sessions and an in-depth class project, participants expand their leadership skills and gain access to a vast array of perspectives, resources, and mentors. Each year, 50 emerging and existing leaders from the private, public, and non-profit sectors of the community are selected to participate in this life-changing program. During the year ended 6/2019, a grant from Wells Fargo was received in the amount of $11,000
