About
Hegg Memorial Health Center (HMHC) operates a 25-bed acute care hospital, a 60-bed nursing home, a 25-unit condominium apartment complex, and a medical clinic. HMHC's purpose is to provide acute inpatient and outpatient services as well as residential nursing home services. The amount of care provided was 1,205 inpatient days of care, 72 births, 21,256 nursing home days of care, 33,531 outpatient visits which includes 6,334 home health visits, 4,531 home assist visits, and 19,425 clinic visits. HMHC also provides 24 hour emergency care that provides care regardless of the patients' ability to pay. There were 1,437 ER visits in fiscal year 2019.
