Home delivered meals are designed for the homebound individual. The delivery of this nutrionally sound meal may be invaluable to allowing an individual to remain in his or her home. Nutrition education is also provided. Congregate meals provide a nutritious meal and reduces the isolation of older persons by combining food with friendship, socialization, and recreation. The program is available to persons 60 years of age and over and their spouses regardless of age. Nutrition education is also provided.
