Iowa Environmental Council's mission is to create a safe, healthy environment and sustainable future for Iowa. Our vision is for an Iowa where waters run clean, soil stays on the land, the air is clear, flora and fauna are diverse, and people are proud to call home. Founded as a non-profit in 1994, the Council consists of over 70 diverse member organizations and ranging from agricultural, conservation, and public health organizations, to educational institutions, municipal utilities, business associations, and churches, as well as hundreds of individual members.
