Helping the community in providing awareness, prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. Albie Aware has an active board of 8 professionals who attend 5 board meetings each year and an all day retreat, as well as actively participates in separate committees. Albie Aware served over 300 women in 2018 with immediate services such as mammograms, biopsies, advocacy and emotional support. Albie Aware is active in the community educating men and women on the importance of breast health at our breast health education classes, community health fair, United Way events and partnering with other social service agencies. Our annual outreach impacts at least 5,000 people a year.
