About
The following 9 programs provided by Cortney's Place serve 34 adult students with severe disabilities. These amazing individuals will continue to grow through educational, physical, cognitive, and personal development through these programs provided music therapy on a weekly basis. Individuals enjoy listening, singing and playing musical instruments hydro-therapy/aquatic therapy weekly. The students visit a pool and work one-on-one with a hydro-therapist pet therapy specially trained dogs visit the program each week to work with individuals who like to interact with pets physical activity several times each week participants take part in exercise activities to promote fitness art therapy art is a special way to communicate for those in our care art sessions develop an individual's unique abilities and allow them a way to express themselves community-based outings our program is community focused and we provide daily opportunities for individuals to see and explore the world around us
