In 2018, the wildlife rescue center admitted 2,952 injured, orphaned, or sick wild patients representing over 60 species of Missouri wildlife. Patients were presented by more than 1,700 individuals from 32 Missouri counties. The center responded to over 15,000 requests from the public to provide program services and expert advice on wildlife-related issues. Over 3,500 youth and adults attended wildlife rescue center education and outreach programs. The wildlife rescue center fulfilled its mission with the help of more than 200 volunteers contributing 20,206 hours of service.
