The center's purpose is to serve the metropolitan St. Louis area and the state of Missouri by working to develop the infrastructure necessary to establish and develop next generation medical and advanced technology companies. The center provides specialized office and lab facilities, knowledgeable support services, entrepreneur education and training opportunities, and access to local and out-of-town venture capital. CET has ongoing cooperative arrangements with Missouri Technology Corporation and the city of St. Louis. CET leased and operated facilities at or near cost to approximately 150 persons and firms that are attempting to develop scientific or technological innovations into successful businesses; provided clerical & administrative service at or near cost.
