Theater Reaching Young People & Schools (TRYPS) is a not-for-profit childrens theater in Columbia, MO. TRYPS provides a year-round calendar of plays, classes, workshops, and camps devoted to children and youth theatre.Our mission is:To teach children about the performing arts, To reach children who would not normally see live theatre, To inspire children to find their own creative voicesThe mission is accomplished by hosing 3 productions and 2 plays; providing acting classes for 414 children, after school enrichment for 21 children, all-day theater workshops for 456 children, and week-long theatre camps for 328. Outreach festivals, workshops, and tours service another 4,712 individuals.
