One of the missions of the Fargo Theatre is to meet the artistic and entertainment needs of increasingly diverse audiences, performers and filmmakers. The Fargo Theatre screened 37 first run films, 12 classic films, 13 children film series, provided area organizations a place to screen local films, hosted the FM LBGT Film Festival and hosted 68 live events. The diversity of films and live events provides the community a wide selection of independent and main stream performances to view. The Fargo Theatre is open 364 days a year for movies allowing the community to view a variety of films in a historical setting and to host a variety of live events. The Fargo Theatre averages more than 67,000 people each year in the different movie/events held at the Theatre.
