Mission

The Lowell Community Development Corporation exists to improve the quality of life in the Lowell neighborhood through community engagement, equitable housing and historic diversity. We have strived over the past few years to improve the quality of life starting in the home. We have partnered with the Fresno Housing Authority to bring 30 units of affordable housing to the community through a combination of rehab and new construction. This project resulted in a development fee installment of $65,193 that was invested back into a vacant and blighted single family home that we acquired and rehabbed to provide quality rental housing for low-income veteran families. We also developed a rental rights and responsibilities curriculum and workshops that better equip tenants contributing to the health and safety of their communities.
