Balboa Park 2015's purpose is to promote public awareness of the historical, cultural, education, and other significant aspects of Balboa Park in the City of San Diego, California, to support, fund, facilitate, and manage activities that promote the historical, cultural, edcuational, and other resources available at Balboa Park in San Diego, California, including but not limited to managing, funding, and presenting a park wide celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the 1915 exhibition in Balboa Park and for related purposes.

ENGAGED IN EFFORTS TO DEVELOP AN ARRAY OF PROGRAMMING CONCEPTS INCLUDING FOUR SPECTACULARS, CITY-WIDE PROGRAMMING, PARK-WIDE PROGRAMMING, A CENTENNIAL FORUM AND A CELEBRATION PLAZA; CREATE A COMPREHENSIVE MARKETING PLAN TO PROMOTE THE CENTENNIAL; EXECUTE A COMMUNICATIONS AND OUTREACH.
