At the start of the 2019-2020 school year, the Seed School of Miami served 259 students across grades 6-11. Students represent Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Collier counties. Seed Miami continues to recruit students specifically from South Florida's underserved communities. Student eligibility for our school as outlined in Florida state statute requires South Florida residency, current enrollment as a 5th, 6th, 8th or 9th grader, at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, and meeting 1 of 5 risk criteria to include living in foster care or having an incarcerated family member.
