Regional air pollution and asthma policy and advocacy program was created to advocate for healthy air and preventative healthcare for all and has been focused on improving air pollution through improved policies and governmental plans, improving state policies and financing mechanisms for preventive asthma care, and ensuring that statewide efforts to reduce greenhouse gases are benefitting disadvantaged communities in the San Joaquin Valley. We are also working at the state level to create a provider class that makes it possible to reimburse for asthma home visitor programs.
