To provide education about humane care and treatment of animals, to connect people with affordable spay/neuter procedures and to work with individuals and other groups to find good homes for unwanted dogs and cats.
About
The organization works with local governments to prevent needless killing of impounded dogs and cats. Its volunteers work with individuals and with other animal groups to locate good homes for unwanted domestic animals. MARC encourages fostering of animals until adoption or relocation can occur. In 2018, the organization took in 1427 animals. It provided adoption services for 953 of these animals and transferred 318 to other agencies for placement.
