Xavier Mission is a FOR-IMPACT organization providing basic services as well as opportunities for empowerment and self-sufficiency to New Yorkers in need. Founded in 1983 by parishioners of the Church of St. Francis Xavier, it became an independent, secular organization in 2012. The mission is rooted in justice, dignity, and compassion to support vulnerable populations with services including a soup kitchen, food pantry, clothing room, shelter, life-skills empowerment, and financial assistance programs.
