Eastside Men's Shelter (EMS): The EMS is a low-barrier shelter that has traditionally only been open during the winter months, but this year will begin year-round operation. Up to 100 men each night have a safe place to sleep, and get meals, showers, laundry, and housing navigation services. Year-round Shelter: The CFH year-round medium-barrier shelter offers 35 men a place to belong every day. This shelter provides a safe warm place to sleep, three meals a day, storage for belongings, case management, medical and dental services, job assistance, training to prepare for housing, bus passes, showers, laundry facilities, and haircuts. Serving over 100 men each year, over 60% of the men in this program exit to permanent housing.Day Center: The Day Center provides a wide variety of services to men experiencing homelessness. It provides meals (breakfast and lunch), showers, free laundry facilities, phone, Case Management support, andmost importantly: community. Men at the Day Center can work with our Case Managers to develop strategies to obtain housing and employment, as well as meet with service providers in offices on-site, including a job training and referral resource. Medical and dental services are periodically available as well.
