About

The Academic Performance Excellence Academy and Matrix for Success Academy is a place where careful programming and one-on-one conferences give students the flexibility they need to realize their dreams. Apex Academy has succeeded with scores of students of poverty and with student populations considered highest at-risk. For the year ended 6/30/19 the academy served over 400 students in grades 7-12 over the course of 180 days, using a competency-based model of instruction and promotion (Diploma Plus), the lowest counselor-to-student ratio in the Los Angeles Unified School District (1:150), an all A-G curriculum plan for graduation for all students, and our uncompromising philosophy to serve any student, any time, anywhere.
