Mission

The Miami Center for Architecture & Design (MCAD) is a destination for anyone interested in the built environment with programs to educate the public and enhance public appreciation for architecture and design.

About

MCAD offers exhibitions, lectures, tours, film series and other programs to reveal the richness of design in Miami. Admission is free and open to the public. During the current year, two exhibitions were held in addition to multiple seminars, historic architecture walking tours and other programs. MCAD houses the downtown Miami welcome center and works with the downtown development authority and Miami-Dade county department of cultural affairs to provide information about Miami's culture, history, architecture and urban fabric.
