About this organization
Mission
The Oxnard Firefighters Foundation Inc., a non-profit 501c3 was established by the Oxnard Firefighters Association Local 1684. We are committed to increasing public safety by utilizing our expertise in emergency management, life safety, and preventative education through community involvement and partnerships. Oxnard Firefighters Association participates in and provides funding to many worthwhile organizations within the community including the Greater Oxnard Boys and Girls Club, Oxnard Elementary School District Gate Program, Ventura County Maritime Museum, Spark of Love Toy Drive, and Fire Fighters Quest for Burn Survivors.

For the month of October, members of the Oxnard Fire Department will be wearing pink work shirts to commemorate breast cancer awareness month. All proceeds will be donated to assist the work of the Ventura County Ribbons of Life and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
