We are building a food system that supports regenerative farming practices and creates fair market opportunities for family farms by increasing local food access for our mountain community.
About
Tahoe Food Hub provides access to sustainably grown food from small family farms within 150 miles of North Lake Tahoe. Proceeds from our local food marketplace benefit our community impact programs.
Our impact on local agriculture, our mountain community, and the environment motivates us as a nonprofit. Food sold through our Farm to Market program provides a marketplace for local farms, gives food access to those in need, and offers fresh produce to our community. Our Giving Box, Farm to School and Farmer Resiliency programs collectively educate our community about the benefits of a local food system ’s effect on the environment, our economy, and our health.

SUPPORT DIVERSIFIED, FAMILY FARMS We’re building a local food system to provide a fair marketplace where small farms can access new markets.
CREATE ACCESS TO LOCAL, SUSTAINABLE FOOD We work with local farms to ensure equal access to the good food we source for our community.
MITIGATE CLIMATE CHANGE We encourage regenerative farming practices, so carbon is sequestered in the soil helping to mitigate climate change.
