Latino U Scholars / College Access Program: The Latino U Scholars Program recruits high achieving, high potential Hispanic youth each year to the 6 year Scholars Program in junior year of high school. Scholars receive one on one support from a college coach mentor, free test prep, essay writing workshops and financial aid consultations. 136 students have participated in the program and exceeded national Hispanic college enrollment averages. 93% of Latino U Scholars are enrolled in 4 year universities and 57% are pursuing a degree in STEM. 54% of scholars attend most selective to very selective institutions with financial aid that meets their needs.
