Education: Our largest programs address educational development through a daily homework help program, English language classes, GED classes, and summer school opportunities. In addition, we partner with Rockford Early Childhood to provide early childhood development opportunities for children under 5. Each week, 50 volunteers assist in providing 140 students the help they need to stay on track with homework, projects, and assignments. Teachers continue to report higher completion rates and grades between students that participate at Mobile Hope and those that do not. Additionally, to address summer slide, we offer summer school for four weeks prior to the start of the new school year enabling students to start the year successfully and reduce some of the achievement gap.
