About this organization
Mission
Fetch Wisconsin saves the lives of at-risk dogs in high-kill shelters by providing care and rehabilitation, and matching them with loving, forever homes.
About
In 2016, we rescued a total of 529 dogs, placing them in foster homes within our network of foster volunteers. We found permanent, loving homes for 340 dogs. Of the dogs we rescued, 412 were from outside of Wisconsin and Illinois, and 34 were senior dogs. All of the dogs we rescued received veterinary care; we funded significant veterinary care (over 1000) for 7 dogs. Additionally, we obtained and funded professional training for 10 dogs with severe behavioral issues. We encourage everyone who adopts a Fetch dog to take training classes with their new dog -- we reimbursed (for a total of 7475) 84 adopters who attended a training class
