Mission

Beyond Benign, Inc. is organized for the purpose of promoting awareness of green chemistry and sustainable science through community outreach programs, curriculum and training for grade schools and other green chemistry commitments, which develop and promote the education of green chemistry in the United States of America and internationally.

About

K-12 curriculum and training consists of workshops designed to introduce and teach the principles of green chemistry to grades K-12 teachers using audience specific programs and techniques. All levels are hands-on and involve training educators to instruct lessons and laboratory exercises with students in a classroom environment. The organization continuously updates curriculum, as well as creates new curriculum for grades K-12 levels. All curriculum is designed for and by educators, allowing for easy adoption in the classroom and laboratory. The curriculum is designed to replace traditional hazardous chemistry within the classroom, as well as introduce new green chemistry concepts in the classroom. All curriculum is placed on-line for educators to download free-of-charge.
