Agricorps creates an enabling environment and builds capacity for school-based agricultural education systems in developing countries in order to reduce generational cycles of hunger and poverty. These systems transform local communities by diffusing agricultural innovations to farmers through in-school youth, as early adopters. During FY2018, Agricorps trained 300 junior high students, 55 integrated science teachers, 30 college agriculture students and placed full-time agriculture instructors in nine junior high schools in the central and eastern regions of Ghana.
