To help ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. That's our mission. Working in cooperation with local organizations, merchants and individuals in the community, we collect and distribute donated and purchased food to anyone in need.
About
The Ocean Shores Food Bank (OSFB) operates a local community food pantry in Ocean Shores, Washington. During the 2019 year, the OSFB provided 227,236 pounds of supplemental and emergency food to 5,644 local area households feeding some 15,094 individuals. The OSFB program services are funded primarily through donations from the public, and provides its program services free of charge. During 2019, the OSFB received 175,822 pounds of donated food, and general cash donations of $86,854. OSFB also purchased an additional $56,356 of food items to distribute as supplemental and emergency food feeding 15,094 individuals. Total OSFB program service expense ($375,532) includes the cost of pantry operations ($74,957) and donated food ($300,575). Total OSFB program service revenue ($35,220) includes gross fund raising revenue ($32,926) & investment returns ($2,294).
