Impact practices: An impact practice provides data science solutions within an issue area. They are run as portfolios of Datakind projects in partnership with charities with a common cause. Impact practices generate data science solutions that apply to many organizations and provide the philanthropic sector with learnings about the most promising data science solutions to invest in or scale up. Datacorps: Our flagship program unites teams of pro bono data scientists and AI engineers from across our global chapter network with social change organizations for 6-9 months to design data-driven solutions to the organizations' challenges, giving them hands-on learning in the process and increasing their efficiency in achieving their mission. Datadive: A datadive is a collaborative weekend-long work session where volunteers analyze, visualize, and build algorithms and models with data to give our social change organizations initial insights or prototypes to inform their work. Datadives serve as a unique opportunity for mission-driven organizations to get hands-on experience with data science, build cross-industry connections, and leave with actionable analyses and tools they can use to increase their impact. Datadives often validate projects that can become datacorps and are run by our chapters worldwide.
