About

CMG's mission is to expand the domestic industrial and technology bases to better serve the government and the general public at large. CMG's research and prototyping activities provide a pathway for small and non-traditional contractors to provide cutting edge technology critical to the government's protection of, and service to, the general public. These are contractors throughout the country that have the opportunity to expand their operations and provide cutting edge technology to the government to which it does not typically have access. Serving the public interest and enhancing the industrial base for the government were prime components underlying the goals of the U.S. Congress in establishing other transaction authority (OTA). Through this OTA mechanism, CMG furthers the public interest goals of identifying non-traditional contractors to work with the government conducting broad technology research and developing prototypes to meet critical national security technology requirements. This technology research and prototyping ensures the government will maintain technological military supremacy on behalf of the warfighter and the public good.
