Successfully organized conversations on climate change, clean energy solutions, and community opposition to the Pacific Connector Pipeline. Our activities included working with hundreds of community members that would be impacted by the Pacific Connector Pipeline to submit comments to public agencies involved in the pipeline permitting process, holding public meetings about the proposed pipeline, and teaching participants how to write public comments. In 2018, we also moved clean energy and energy efficiency forward in Southern Oregon by organizing a group purchase program of ductless heat pumps. We also organized a youth camp to teach youth about climate change and started a youth internship program to teach youth about climate change and community organizing.
