Keypoint Alliance, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to provide educational programs and services that educate, engage and enrich the lives of under-served students. Keypoint accomplishes this by securing grants that enable the organization to hire staff to provide technical assistance related to Keypoint's exempt purpose. Also, engaging in the specific and general coordination of efforts with other organizations and persons having a similar mission.
About
Talent search served 500 students. Approximately 75% were low-income and potential first generation college students. All Trio talent search participants demonstrated a compelling academic need for KPA's services. Students received services that included (but were not limited to): tutoring; financial aid counseling; FAFSA and college application completion assistance; scholarship search; academic coaching; life skills and academic development workshops; career exploration assistance; financial literacy training; cultural exposure field trips; college tours. Additionally, Keypoint Alliance Inc. awarded scholarships in the amount of 1000 to two Trio talent search students.
