Edbuild promotes common sense and fairness in K-12 school funding by engaging directly with states in policy research and by partaking in national voice work that elevates the national dialogue surrounding broader issues of student poverty and inequity. For FYE 2017 in the area of state engagement, Edbuild performed policy analysis and served as issue experts in eight states by assisting state-level stakeholders in determining areas of improvement in state K-12 funding policy. In the area of national voice, Edbuild released a fifty state survey of policies related to school district consolidation.
