Scarecrow Video preserves and maintains one of the most culturally significant video collections in the U.S. This critical collection of over 135,000 titles is housed at the Seattle location, and continues to grow by bringing in approximately 3,600 new titles annually. Scarecrow Video's unique library represents every facet of its collective cultural history spanning over 125 years, and coming from 129 countries with over 126 languages other than English. The organization holds films not just about marginalized storytellers, but by them as well, and holds these works to be of equal importance as Hollywood blockbusters. Scarecrow Video strives to be a resource to everyone and serves approximately 10,000 people annually through low cost rentals and free public programs: The Screening Room, Children's Hour, Silver Screeners Cinema, and Movies in the Park.
