Biz Builder Sports & Fitness, a National Junior Tennis Learning (NJTL) organization, offered character, life skills, STEM education and tennis development workshops. Sixty-seven (67) youths were served through the program. Through the program participants learned critical life skills, including positive character traits, leadership skills, problems solving skills, how to control emotions, and how to be a team player and to appreciate diversity. Through the tennis program youth engaged in fitness activities, learned work ethics and discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship and knowledge of the game of tennis. The golf program enabled the youth to enjoy the outdoors, practice personal responsibility, sportsmanship and learn to play the game of golf.
