The purpose of the organization is to develop well disciplined scholar-athletes who strive for educational and athletic excellence, to familiarize young participants with the fundamentals of basketball, to provide them with the opportunity to play in a safe, organized and well supervised environment. Through active participation in team sports and activities, the organization hopes to instill fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives. The organization seeks to provide fun athletic learning opportunities for children, while emphasizing the importance of academic success. The organization strives to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and physical fitness.
