Mission

To maintain, develop, and transmit ideas and principles that are integral to preparing young men and women for productive and conscientious lives.

About

Programs consist of the Table Talk series that provides Yale students with the opportunity to participate in conversations with professors outside the context of their formal studies beginning with what drew them to their chosen discipline. The discussion series program is held throughout the year for students centered on perennial themes of ethics and economic life. The Elm in the City program is a series of salons held ten to twelve times a year in New York City to provide intellectual stimulation and fellowship for recent Yale graduates and friends of the institute.
