Meyer and Victoria, with activist Michael Wahba, founded CARE for Special Children in 2013 so no family should ever feel alone. CARE rose as a safe haven a place of compassion, encouragement, and guidance, and a source of frequent events that shows others they are part of a community. Raising children with special needs is hard, and CARE is a loving center for parents, siblings, and your special child. CARE seeks to provide parents of children with disabilities with the necessary support, guidance and resources they need to function and thrive as a family – both by educating families about available services and offering hands-on help and support.
