Mission
Banks Academy is a private Christian High School providing quality education to students in failing school districts in the eastern Birmingham area, expanding their mind, enabling them to pursue their passions and achieve their absolute potential, living full, rewarding and personally meaningful lives. We are developing dual tract education for college and technical/trade school preparation focusing on character and job skill training. Our mission is to help end generational poverty through education.

The entity's main source of revenue is derived from unrestricted donations from outside donors. This revenue will be used to provide a safe and secure school building and environment aimed at employing teachers committed to helping develop students, providing quality education based on merit, teaching kids to be self sufficient, incorporating successful strategies of learning and cultivating a Christ centered setting.
