Mission

The organization strives to address the academic and personal challenges confronting our immigrant children by providing targeted support and enrichment services as a way to maximize their potential in school and beyond. IFSI-USA works to improve access to social services for immigrant families. In response to recent events, IFSI-USA supports those affected by changes in immigration legislation, including temporary protective status.

About

Summer academic and enrichment program for students entering grades K-12. Academic support to prepare students for upcoming school year. Individualized learning plans with classroom and individual support is provided for students in grades K-6. Curricula covers math, English language arts and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Afternoon enrichment includes musical instrument instruction, musical ensemble practices, art, chorus and sports. Comprehensive STEM program for students in grades 6-8. Youth leadership opportunities for high school students include serving as classroom assistants, tutors and music teachers.
