Home services and senior support services. The Shepherds Center provides two home services. Friends for Seniors is a friendly visitor program, which matches older volunteers with another older adult who may be homebound, or experiencing isolation. In 2017, 7 volunteers were matched with 8 older adults, one had 2 matches. The Minor Home Repair program includes 4 retired volunteers along with some contractors, church groups, etc. who donate their time to make minor repairs on the homes of lower to moderate older adults.
