The Kansas Land Trust (KLT) protects and preserves lands of ecological, agricultural, scenic, historic, or recreational significance in Kansas. The Kansas Land Trust is an accredited land trust with the Land Trust Accreditation Commission.

About

Securing easements for preservation of natural resources. These easements preserve areas of native tallgrass prairie, replanted prairie, riparian areas, upland woodlands, cropland, ranchland, and other open space. Protected conservation values associated with these areas include ecological diversity, wildlife habitat, water quality, productive soils, agricultural farm and ranch production, and scenic open space appreciation. Such protection provides a significant public benefit of great importance to the people of Kansas and the United States.
